This year I continue to experiment with cone 6 oxidation glazes in my electric kiln. I have chosen two clays from Blackwattle Pottery Supplies at Ingleburn. Their mid-fire white clay and the new WWF which is a nice buff colour. Both these clays work well at cone 6.
This year I am developing Ash glazes using ash from the burned timber from the old wharf at my parents home in the Central Coast.
I am also continuing to practice Chinese brushwork designs using slips, oxides and pigments.
